If you follow a hundred blogs, it can be a hassle to type in 100 different URLs to go figure out if anyone has published anything new.  If you subscribe to RSS by hitting one of these orange buttons you see everywhere, you can read all of your blogs in one place.

That’s called an RSS feed.
