12 June 2012 Heavy partials and endurance work

I really like this movement. The Eagle Loops Lift is a great partial to add to your program if you are working on grippers and pinch lifting often. The load on the fingers is a key element to my grip progress. I got these two HUGE 100′s from Chris Rice at Nationals, so it moves the lift up a few more inches.

Afterwards I did a set of clean and press with the 24 kg, 109 reps in 7:17 minutes. The faster tempo felt good, and with the gym being almost 15 degrees cooler it was a lot more comfortable.

I have been finishing my workouts with a single set of light weight squats for high reps. Last night was 115 on the SSB for a set of 75 reps to a 10″ box. These sets wipe me out, makes falling asleep a lot easier.
