PSOTFED moves on, Fat bar lifting continues
9 May 2012
Double Rolling Thunder lifts, alternating overhead pressing, hanging knee raises
The best PR of the month so far is getting the Green bell off the floor. This bell is so hard to move, easily 60% harder to lift than a standard Thomas Inch Replica bell. The handle is slightly larger, much slicker (machined and smooth) and smaller bells increase the rotation.
I thought it would take several years to lift this, but now I believe it will be a full deadlift off the floor before the end of the summer.
To quote Matt on what this is “Okay folks, you’re seeing a high-rep Inch DB lifter struggle for air time and guy that’ll give you 10 solid lifts of the Inch in a workout not even so much as budge the thing on the first few attempts, with no tricks… you still cannot fathom how challenging this bell is. Perhaps, it correlates to that first time you encountered the Inch replica and questioned if it had glue on the bottom… so brutal.”
