19 Jan 2012 – 23 rep Inch DB DL set, mad back bridge progress

by adam on January 19, 2012

My new favorite cardio – lift 172 lbs as many times as possible, as fast as possible.

Back bridge- now I can flip over from a headstand and walk out. I can’t figure out how to get over the other way yet. I spent almost 7 minutes total upside down tonight, tons and tons of bridging.

Adam, you are a beast, man! I love the bridges. Happy to see the one arm then one leg lifts while in a back bridge. I was just getting ready to start doing those!

Awesome stuff Adam,
Ive been following you for a few years now and you have completely transformed your physique, movement, and performance.

I would like to see some new videos of you doing some of your orginal feets of strength such as rednail bends, horse shoe bending, BU press the beast, lever some massive hammers ect…just to see if you still got it LOL.

Keep up the AWESOMENESS!

Personally, I found that through applying the GM protocol I got better at things I didn’t practise. Before GM, my PR in the Bench Press was 115 kg at 78 kg BW. I did bench on a regular basis at least once per week back then. Recently I benched for the hell of it and found it tested well, after three sessions I set a new PR with 130 kg at 70 kg BW (that’s a strict BP in PL terms, raw of course). Also my 1,5 mile/2400 m times are steadliy improving, even though I don’t do any running, martial arts getting better even though I do the absolute mEA of martial arts training, last week I found out I can hold a human flag for 2-3 seconds without any training for it, I could go on and on…
More important, I’m making huge improvements in my goal-specific movements on a weekly basis… Pulled an easy DL PR of 200 kg (BW 70 kg) only 2 weeks ago.

Hey Adam, quick question: I know you’re a lefty, but you seem to be stronger on your right side? Is it because of the injury?

Nate, depends on what mm

For example left dominant cards books rolling thunder reverse bending plate curling, right dominant grippers oh pinch bup and single arm dl

So it depends on what I’m doing
