First successful threading back bridge today

by adam on December 20, 2011

Didn’t feel like doing too much. Europinch 200 lbs for 25 singles, Saxon bar 208 for 15 singles, Axle DO DL up to 405 for some singles. Followed by several sets of handstand push ups (only range that tested well was to the head) and various back bends and bridges. Today was the highest number of reps bridging across the most sets, along with this new movement. I know it looks shitty right now, but within 2-5 days I will have it very smooth.

Adam, What did you test out to get you to the point where you can do full bridges?

Adam,

Again awesome bridges. You gonna work on kicking over next?

Hey Adam, May I ask a question about the Bridges?……..Are they primarily for mobility purposes or do you feel they work otherwise neglected muscle groups?. I would think your doing them for spine flexion and shoulder mobility but Im uncertain.

well if you view the body, int he anatomy trains point of view…your stretching the whole anterior chain… since you are contracting the whole posterior chain you get a deeper antagonistic stretch also…not just mechanical..

just a tought

Very nice on the bridges Adam. You’re starting to look like me :)

i still have ways to go to match some of the gymnastics you demonstrated in May my friend. Something you should know– Remember Josh Freeman? He was one of the clients who came in who you taught some hand balancing to. He kept up with it, literally every single training day, and he is getting really good at some of the positions. Also Mike Nelson’s wife Jodie continued on with what you demoed and she is actually really good now. Your work is spreading slowly but effectively here in Minneapolis

Awesome. Always love to hear of people using my stuff and seeing results from it.

Mark, I will do a write up for the RT. In short I think they are over priced, but very good.
