grip training 19 August 2011. Inch lifting, Grippers, Griptopz, and Squats

Pretty good day of training. I am currently on day #6 nonstop. Lots of europinch today, 168 lbs for 58 reps in 12:30. Fatgripz monkey grip lifts, Grip4orce dumbbell bench press, Strongergrip Plateau Buster deadlifts, reverse curls with my formulator, a mess of gripper closes, and heavy squats today. Yesterdays 243 X102 reps work my ass down, but I still set an intensity PR today.

Adam, great progress on the inch farmers walk.

As much as I like watching your super human grip work, I would like to see some video of you squating and doing some other non grip related work.

243×102 is no joke, imagine if you just told a typical gym guy to do 243×102. He wouldnt be able to walk for 2 weeks!! I see it now, first set 10 reps to absolute failure. 3 sets later his buddy is dragging him out of the squat rack after 30 totla reps.

Joe I can put up the squats video, I filmed most of the sets with 243.

Nice, it would be cool to see some early video of you squating to see the progress you have made on your ROM.

what up buddy pretty soon you will be walking with those over your head , those inches are sweet, great close grip pinching looks like you mastered that. congrates on the wsh placing nasty , i keep watching industrial strength grip over and over , everytime i watch it i learn something new best grip video period great work adam thanks for all the info you put out its awsome , hows the knew gym man looks cool, i hoping to get out for leg 3 of wsh my life has finally slowed down i spent all summer rebuilding my house did alot of work and i am almost done , still getting better every day just no free time , thanks for everything adam talk soon

Good to hear Mike. Any chance you can make it to Jedds for one of the Strongest Hands Legs? I think you would really good to try it out. I do not know total travel time from Boston to his place, I think he is one hour to 1.5 hours outside of Philly.

Curious about a couple of things:

1) What kind of shoes you wearing while squatting?

2) Why all the reps?

I know you, and I know you have specific reasons. This is a lift I coach
for many athletes down in my area so I’m very interested in your reasoning.
