Jake Wright, age 15, 44″ box jump, first try

by adam on August 10, 2011

I have been working with Jake now since June. During this time he has added over 80 lbs to his barbell clean and jerk, 50 lbs to his bench press, 6 lbs of lean mass, and dropped 2 lbs of body fat.

On Tuesday we tried out some box jumping, and I was very impressed to see Jake stick this 44″ box jump. We have not worked on this very much at all, just a few days at 21″ in the past. I will be interested to see if Jake can break the current Movement Minneapolis record of 53.5″ set by Dave Sandel in the next year.

What I do know is that age 15 Jake has a very bright future ahead of him!
