300 lbs for 12 reps with the V bar righty.
Things are going good.
I have shifted training goals since WSH. Most of my lifting right now is push/pull/squat plus grippers.
So far some kind of horizontal press, lots of rowing movements, and grippers are daily staples. I have been crushing my gripper volume, the average workload is up from 40-50 reps per workout to over 100 with high resistance.
Squatting is getting better in all patterns. Having a safety squat bar is a big help because it shifts the center of mass forward. Back squats and I have had problems since a spinal injury in 2002. Front squats are not so bad, SSB squats are great. KB front squats at speed are another drill which is going well.
I have dropped the volume of pinching and axle work, but I still do some euro work weekly. The biggest shift has been working with both wider and thinner widths. Tonight I loaded the euro all the way up to 64mm which feels huge in my hands. The wider pinching tested better than my standard width but was dramatically harder (obviously).
My other pinches have been going better lately.
Hubbing and blob work have been on the increase even though I have slacked on them. I am certain the europinch work is a huge carry over.
I am set for my COC #3 certification this week. My judge is selected and the gripper is in the mail now. Provided everything goes well I will be the 9th man in 2010 to complete the certification with the credit card set rule.
I have been amazed by the huge response of Industrial Strength Grip, a huge congratulations to all who purchased. I am excited to see all of you get moving down the road with your grip pursuit.
Average total work loads have been in the 40K range. Not looking for any particular out come on this other than being curious what will happen. Physique changes this month; waist down 1″, shoulders up 2″, arms up 1/4″, legs up 1/2″. Body weight is down to 205 lbs, body fat on the caliper is 11.3%. I’m pretty happy with thing right now.

get well fast my friend, let me know if you need any help with the hand pain.
Sweet numbers, Adam. I just hit a huge (for me) PR in the Benchpress. 235 on the close grip, and I think the meet can see me doing 260.
My most notable PR’s this month so far are two-handed pinch/40 kgs and KB front squat/70 kgs. I got my old 1RM DL of 130 kgs above my knees, too. We’ll see how high I can crank up my two-hand pinch till the next World’s Strongest Hands.
Adam,
I just picked up your newest DVD last nite. If it is anywhere near as good as the info in Grip and Rip 2.1, then it’ll be kick ass! I can’t wait to get it and start using your knowledge. I have always been intrigued by grip, but so far have only gotten into grippers. When I 1st picked up a COC #1, I could only close it to within 1″ CCS. Now I can slam the 1.5 CCS. I know its not much, but its only the beginning!
Most people will be able to jump a gripper after applying the stuff from the crush block. I think you will really dig it Tim
Man I would love to be able to jump a gripper at this point. Every time I think I’ve got them figured out, I end up wrong and progress stops and often reverses. Sounds like I may need to add this to my xmas list. Congrats on the huge progress lately buddy! Been getting some solid PR’s lately in the pinch myself and loving it.

being that you are one of the top grip athletes in the USA and possibly the world, i feel obligated to say this. ISG is build for beginners and intermediates. While I do believe you will find some new stuff to play with here, it is unlikely I will be showing you a lot of new stuff in the grip section
the programming section will be very useful to you.
