Changes in training, new goals to shoot out, and my offer to YOU.

by adam on November 18, 2010

Update: As promised, the opportunity has passed and Grip & Rip 2.1 is back to $197.  To the many of you who picked up a copy, your training is about to change forever.

Closing the IronMind Captain of Crush #3 gripper from a credit card set. I am ready to certify by their official standard.

Worlds Strongest Hands was my primary focus of training since June 2010.

Six months of pinching, grippers, bending, and support work as the primary goal. When I was not doing those things I was pulling, pressing, rowing, and lifting KBs.

I found out last night the next series is tentatively scheduled for August next year. I have plenty of time to move in some other directions.

I have dropped my weight down to 210 since spring. I have added a total of 12 inches to my measurements from head to toe. I dropped 7% BF.

So one of goals is to continue my physique transformation. That part is pretty easy considering how I train. I have some new Metflex experiments which will help out as well.

My goals for the bod are 19″ neck, 18″ arms, 56″ shoulder, drop 4 more % body fat and grow my hair and beard three times longer (thats right). I’m within 4 months on all of these, except the beard.

In terms of performance, it is broken down to three areas. Sport, Feats, Lifts.

Sport: #1 certify on the IM COC#3. A few years back IM moved the certification standard from parallel set to credit card set, which slowed down certs by 90%. I thought there was no way I would be able to do it, because the leg is almost all the way out of my hand at the start. Obviously I need to learn to never doubt my hands. I am getting CCS closes now fairly easily. I am contacting IM this week to line up my judge.

On the Vulcan hand gripper: Level 20 by Feb, Level 21 by August. level 21 is COC #4 level difficulty. I am very close to getting 18 now. I can set 18 and 19, I miss 18 by less then 1/4 every time I try it. This summer I moved from 14 to 17, logical to presume I can move from 17 to 21 in 10 months.

Two hand pinch lift on the europinch apparatus:  I don’t know I have reminded you enough of this- It’s fucking awesome to have the contacts I do. Obviously being a trainer means I hang out with other trainers. I got a call from Frankie, and in one sentence he broke down the missing link with my pinch. I tried out the correction and it dramatically increased my pulling power. The first target is 210 lbs (body weight pinch) by Jan. My best so far is the 197 pull I nailed 3 weeks ago. With this better technique I imagine I can nail that within 4 pinch workouts. Target by summer is 225. By August I need to be consistent with 100kg (220) and hit towards 228-230 in competition settings.

Axle deadlift: 450 by the end of 2011. Best complete pull is 405, I get 415 to the knees the last three training days. Less than 5 lbs a month for a support lift is pretty conservative.

2″ Vertical bar- 400 by Summer. Current best 355, lifted 360 1″ last big training day.

1″ Vertical bar- 430 by Summer. Current best 402. Last training day was 375 and that was the first day back to 1″ v bar in months. I have strong potential for this strange lift.

Feats: Full plate curl for reps- my 45′s, my 50 lbs standard, and my 50 steel plate. Last week I stuck a full length 45 right above parallel to the floor and held it. Within the next month this will be reality. I currently do between 50 to 80 plate curls in 6 minutes with my 15 kg plate. Only a matter of time now.

Reverse bend: 3/8″ X 7″ cold rolled steel bar. Only two men have ever done this- Gary Hunt in the UK and Mike Hadley USA. I will be the 3rd to do it.

Quarter Pinch: 60 lbs by summer. Here is 39.8 lbs. Much more challenging than most would think.

Lifts:

One hand deadlift with plateau buster: 650. I nailed 527 at leg 4 of Strongest Hands and it was pretty easy for me. I Believe 600 before end of winter is reasonable, and 650 by Grip Nationals this summer.

20 dead hang pull ups. Currently can do 12. Need this by April to be ready for the tactical strength challenge.

Deadlift- 3X body weight. I don’t train my two hand BB pull enough, but I can lift 2.5 BW right now without too much trouble. How hard to add 100 more lbs? We will see. DDN did +100 lbs in under 7 months.

Final one is push press a 24kg for 500 reps in 15 minutes. I am wrapping up my 16kg in 15 minute challenge this month. My best 24kg PP in 15 has been 256 in 14. That was at a conservative pace, so there is a lot of room for improvement.

How will I do all these things? By using the Gym Movement Protocol. I have made incredible progress over the last 13 months using the protocol, and the gains are speeding up. No stagnation, no injury, no bullshit.

I will tell you, today have been a great day. So great that I am in a damn fine mood. I am going to offer you the chance to get Grip and Rip 2.1 right now for $99 dollars, a 50% savings.

This offer is good from Now until Saturday morning. Grip and Rip 2.1 for $99 dollars. I want you to make the fastest, safest possible progress.

In this 3 1/2 hour double DVD set you will see the Grip and Rip workshop where I taught the Gym Movement Protocol to a group of trainers and athletes. These people have went on to do incredible things- Josh Hanagarne cured himself of tourettes, Frank Berean and Mike Sheehan broke out of chronic pain and put on tons of muscle. DDN pulled 541 at 175 lbs. That is just a handful of the results of this program. Since I released it I have received messages from all over the world of men and women resolving pain and making incredible progress.

Will You be next?

I would suggest that people jump on this offer if you don’t already own it. Man those are some pretty sick goals adam.19 inch neck and 18 inch guns can’t wait to see it.

If you haven’t bought this DVD set yet my question to you is simply: why?

- Is it too much money?
- Do you already have too many fitness DVDs and you think it’s the same?
- Do you not believe that you can implement this protocol?
- Do you not think you can achieve the same progress?

Just drop a comment and tell us why you’re still on the fence.

hello,

my brother trains with bio feedback. I try to train that way but it doesn`t seem to work with me. I want to lose weight and i want to train with kettlebells. why does it work with my brother and not with me?

great goals , job well done. there is no more practical way to break movement down then the way you do one the grip and rip dvd. there is no other information like it . this dvd will help me close in on goals previously thought of as unobtainable. i have no doubt i will hit every goal i set out to get, all the while remaining injury free which is my most important goal. there are no gimmicks or bullshit listen and apply what you learn and get better . i am living proof and will continue to get better, if you want better than get this dvd
