Sleep has been hit and miss all week. I feel tired but when I lay down I can’t fall asleep.
Yesterday was an off day, I figured today would be pretty good coming in.
Started with Vulcan Level 17 took two singles right hand, then moved to Level 14 for volume. 54 reps in 13:51, that is an improvement by 30 reps with this difficulty. Time was slow as I was working with a client in between closes.
Moved to Europinch, which by the way was total shit today. did 3 sets, thumb felt like it was going to cut so I switched to my Strongergrip bar.
Strongergrip two hand pinch with 210- 28 reps in 13:30, PR by 4 reps and 2 minutes.
Dumbbell bench press was next, 83 reps in 9 minutes, PR by 17 reps.
KB Row with my 36kg bell was next- 222 reps in 11:54. The other day I got 180 in 7:30 and was crushed, this was not nearly as bad even though it is much more volume.
Moved to overhand axle deadlift 255 for 38 reps in 8 minutes. This is a real easy weight for my overhand, i think the sustained grip will help out with my max pulls. We will see how it translates over the next few weeks.
Final was push press with a 16 kg bell- 480 reps in 19:30. This is the slowest I have done these, but also the highest volume. Old best was 413 in 11. I think I can close the loop on the 500 reps in 15 minutes next week.
total work today is over 69,000 lbs. One of my higher days in a while. Feeling good.
