Here are a few articles I would like you to see again. As you learn more, revisiting older info can yield new insights.
PAIN MAKES YOU STUPID By Frankie Faires. In an effort to get out of omni-contextual pain, Frankie has done more joint mobility than any 30 people you know. After hundreds and hundreds of thousands of reps put in…he says it is not all that useful.
SHOES AND ADAPTATION Guest post by Brad Johnson. Brad loves barefoot training, and he wants you to check it out. So take a look and see if it is for you.
BOTTOMS UP PRESS TRAINING An article I wrote which turned up a big shit storm in the KB community– Is excessive tension required for pressing? I say no. And I can now BUP half my BW for reps. So read here and make your own call.
WHY BODY WEIGHT TRAINING? I am certainly no expert on body weight training drills, but I do think they are good for many people, see why here.
HAND STRENGTH MADE EASY Here are three simple drills which will be a big pay off to your training program.
Equipment? We Don’t Need No Stinking Equipment! Or Do We? Owning 20K in equipment allows me to give you perspective on what you may need for a home gym. My recommendations are found here in this first installment
No Regrets I say regret is like a bag of bricks, just set it down and keep walking man.
Are You Sure? Guest Post by Craig Keaton of The Movement Dallas. His message is clear- do not be so certain on the things which you have not put to the test.
The Berwyn Hedgeclipper Massacre Guest post by Gary Berenbroick. Gary nearly lopped off all fingers on his left hand, but the upside is this led he and I to being friends. If only I could meet people without terrible things happening to them first…

“Pain Makes You Stupid” is one of the best pieces written by anyone on any subject in a long time.
Hey Adam, if you ever travel to Finland, I’ll buy you a cold one. No joke!
Hi Adam,
You asked about a bodyweight exercise that trains the hip hinge-movement. I know of one. I couldn’t find any pictures, so:
You kneel (sit on your heels), hands behind your back or your neck, and lean foreward until your forehead almost touches the ground, then sit back up. The higher you keep your ass (up from your heels), the harder it gets, because your hamstrings have to work harder to keep balance. It’s hardest when your head gets close to the ground and you tense your hamstrings and lower back to keep in balance.
Let me know what you think.
Jeroen
