The Rogue Wave

by adam on March 30, 2010

For hundreds of years sailors told stories of unexpected waves literally coming out of nowhere which decimated their ships and killed their crews.

These accounts of 100ft tall single waves were regarded as “sea monster” stories, the product of unhealthy minds from too many days at sea. Only recently have Scientists been able to prove or more importantly disprove the rogue wave. Once they asked the right questions, they found out this was not another mythical sea monster, but a very real phenomenon of nature.

The rogue wave is a single event with an unknown starting point, with no known precursory signals which could topple an entire fleet of ships manned by experienced mariners. The rogue wave is an unbelievably powerful force of nature which can occur in the ocean anywhere, any time. Terrifying, I will check that off as yet another reason I am a landlubber.

The Rogue Wave of fitness

The rogue wave of the fitness world is gaining power. See the following posts, read what these men and women are accomplishing now. These are not newbie’s who have never touched a weight before. Read what expert trainers are seeing as they put it to the test.

Write me off

You can write off what I say about Perpetual Progress, Gym Movement, and biofeedback because I have my hand on it, because I have “always been strong” and because you can’t understand anything I am up to. I have read the critic’s responses “He made progress before Gym Movement” Well of course I did. Getting better is what I do. You need to pay attention because I did in fact get better fast, but now I do it every day.

Write Frankie Faires off

You can write off Frankie Faires, who pioneered and developed the system. I have already heard the stupid comment, “If that is the guy who created it I don’t want to do it.”  Frankie weighs 175lbs.  He is a no gi-jujitsu coach and competitor.  Make no mistake you would not want to be on the mat with Frankie and pop your mouth off about size, you would eat those words quickly.

Additionally If I were to judge YOU by MY strength standards you would not hold up so well.  So use your logic and intelligence when you speak on this because perpetual progress matters to YOU.  This is not about what anyone looks like or if they fit in your perfect model of the world.  Ponder that one deeply.

Here is something which you don’t know; Frankie is resolving chronic pain both in him and in others.  For the better part of the last decade Frankie has been in a state known as Omni-contextual pain: He felt pain in his body regardless of position or movement. In pain all the time.  Imagine from the moment you are awake to the moment you are asleep you are hurting.  He worked with a very popular “Pain Expert” in the fitness industry who flat our quit working on Frankie because he was unable to resolve the issue.

The experts recommendation can be summarized as drastic surgery and or takingheavy doses of pain killers for the rest of your life because nothing more can be done for you.

Frankie did not take the pills, he opted to continue to explore his body and connect the dots.  He has made more progress in 1 year than his guru doctor did with him in 4 years.  Only when we follow our body will be able to achieve maximum results – be it physique transformation, sports performance, or pain resolution.

Write my friends off

You can try to write off my friends Josh Hanagarne, Frank Berean, Mike Sheehan, and Mark Wilson who all put on 18-30lbs of lean mass since starting this method, added over 100lbs to their deadlifts, and get better every day.

How About Kathi Burger?

Maybe you would like to write off Kathy Burger who can now snatch a 24kg bell for 60 reps in 4 minutes.  How many men can do that?  Not many!

You should probably ignore their results

Frank, Josh and David Dellanave all had conditional shoulder pain.  When they tried to move their arm overhead they felt pain.  Frank was getting close to being in chronic pain.  Now these men lift upwards to 30,000 in a single workout overhead with no pain.  Frank told me a while back shoulder pain was ruining his life – He works as a barber and it was affecting his ability to work.  Now he is pain free.  Are you willing to say that is unimportant?

Moving towards a cure? Write it off, it’s not important

I am interested when people write off perpetual progress and Gym Movement considering Josh Hanagarne is curing himself of Tourette’s Syndrome using the protocol.  Let’s be clear as I say this – the Work out of the Day (WOD) did not cure it.  Swings and Get Ups did not cure it.  5/3/1 did not cure it.  Perpetual Progress and Gym Movement did.  In absolute fairness, none of previous listed training systems ever said they could cure Tourette’s but it is now happening and it’s happening with Gym Movement. Click here to read how Josh just went 14 hours (!!) without a tic on 29 March 2010.

This is absolutely groundbreaking and epic. Josh is a close friend of mine and I am powerfully moved to know I had a direct role in improving his quality of life.  You can’t put a price on that!  If Josh can resolve his Tourette’s, you can resolve fat loss problems or break the “Hard Gainer” cycle.

How about Matt Ciarlette?

Maybe you want to take a crack at how my student and friend Matt Ciarlette who has Cerebral palsy can now bend the Iron mind red nail and close a #3 Captain of Crush gripper.  Can you do that?  If you can, I know what you went through to do it and remember , you had an undefinable advantage over Matt in terms of starting points and limitations. I believe Matt will go on to many places never before traveled by anyone with this condition.  He has gained a tremendous amount of lean muscle and transformed his physique in a very short period of time.

In my email box right now are 170 something emails from men and women across the country who shares a common message, “Adam, this is the best progress I have ever made, training is now FUN again!”  That does not include the number of emails Frankie Faires and Mike T Nelson are also receiving. These are from this week alone.

The point here, if it is not obvious to you, is this is important.  Perpetual Progress, Gym Movement and Biofeedback are changing the entire game.  It will continue to change the game.  The Dark Age of Mis-information is ending!

Grip N Rip 2010

In February 2010 I taught a workshop addressing the starting point of programming.  All of the attendees of the workshop now make incredible progress.  Out of the attendees, half of them are training others professionally in some capacity.  These are not dummies; they are smart capable people.  Half of them have been through at least one or more fitness certifications; you cannot say they do not know how to train people.  Now they make more progress in a month then they used to make in 3 months.  Their clients are making better progress than ever before.

If you want to:

  • Build more muscle
  • Lose more fat
  • Heal faster from the injuries you have now and never suffer another lifting injury again
  • Move better
  • Play any sport better
  • Feel better

then the Grip & Rip workshop is of interest to you.

We filmed it.  8 hours of instruction brought down to fit on 2 DVDs to give you the most important pieces of the lesson.  Everything you need to achieve PRs every day, program for any goal, resolve pain in yourself, change your physique as fast as possible, and feel the best you can.

Go to www.grip-rip.com now and sign up to receive your gift video and audio presentation from me showing you the first part of the equation.  You can get started today with this video, moving faster than ever before.

Grip and Rip 2010 will be released in the next few days.  It is not a product for everyone.  I built the class to give the very best results possible to a group of highly motivated self-led people.  I can promise you there will be things said on the DVD which will bother you.  I can promise you will disagree with some of the content.  I can also promise you it will bring the absolute fastest results your body is capable of making.  In order to break rigid belief systems, I had to inflict some emotional trauma.  So I leave the choice to you, but I do request you sign up now and get the gift from me.  I will arm you with the test and you can be the one decide your next move.

If you think getting better every day is impossible, you are wrong.  If you think getting better every day is not a worthy pursuit, you are wrong.  If you have any intention of slow-rolling other people’s progress, you are now my enemy and I will expose you to the world.

In a very near future, this information will be taught to kindergarteners on the play ground.  Every Man and Women in the world will simply follow their own program and do what is best for them. I am speaking of a world were Injury and pain will be the ones to suffer the recession!

If you believe this is too good to be true, then test it out.  If you still are not convinced then walk away.  You will be back. I am offering the program to operate completely independent of everyone else: no experts, no gurus and no rules.  Every person can and should be better: it is our birthright.

I am offering you the tools, the tactics, and the procedures. My name is Adam T Glass.  I am The Movement.  The question is,  are YOU The Movement?

man everything you wrote is so true. Adam thanks for the kind words. I am very grateful that we met. If we had not i stll would have been searching the internet for something that would have helped me. My shoulder pain was breaking me down, both my body and mentally. You find yourself so depressed if your boldy hurts all the time. Pressing overhead just plain sucked, and no matter what i did it never helped. I told my wife a couple of weeks back, it is so weird not to be in pain anymore. I told her i would have paid 5x the amount for the grip and rip seminar knowing what i know now. I deeply thank you adam, frankie for making the program and everyone else on this site.

josh March 31, 2010 at 12:18 pm

Frank, you’re the man. Don’t argue!

adam March 31, 2010 at 9:03 pm

Well you know…if you ever feel like sending me more money i will take it :) LOL

frank March 31, 2010 at 1:43 pm

thanks josh,

the things that fixed my shoulders weren’t the things that everyone tells you will. Everyone says getups and armbars. Well for me they never and i mean never test well. But i was doing trying to make them work. The things that helped me, deads, rows, alot of rows, and changing my pressing style. Josh i love to watch the progress you have made in both in your workouts, and life outside the gym. Being tall myself 6 foot 3, sometimes i would make excuses for why i couldn’t do things as well as someone shorter. No longer do i think like that after seeing adam, yourself and mark, all tall guys pressing alot of weight. If you surround yourself with people like this your going to do well no matter what.

I’m taking the plunge on this dvd. I have to see this with my own two eyes. If this is all it’s cracked up to be, wow, I can’t wait.

adam March 31, 2010 at 5:23 pm

I only put my name on things which i believe are superior. This is why we are offering this information, and this is why things have gone the way they have over the last 8 months.

My thought process has completely changed in all aspects of my life, I have throw away any belief system i have had pertaining to training, but this is not just about getting better in the gym it is about getting better in all aspect of my life. There is no stopping this i know every goal i want will be accomplished in the safest most effective manner ,while progress will never be at a stand still. there is so much more i could say but you have pretty much stated everything , i cannot wait to get the dvd frank , great work josh amazing what your doing, I am the movement and things have never felt better.

Powerful! Simply powerful…

adam March 31, 2010 at 9:02 pm

Thank you Steve!

It’s interesting to see people question their belief systems and not like the answers they find. People need to evolve and grow, always be learning.
This is good stuff, Adam.

adam March 31, 2010 at 9:01 pm

Daniel

Oh yes! Imagine some of these people have spent 20+ years slow poking it, and now some group of “kids” is telling them they are wrong! Drives them fucking ape shit. Plus all the dumbass trainers out there, they are so locked in to a false control model.

I post that I do not use excessive tension when i press and it creates panic with some people.

Test, test, test. that is where the truth comes from.

These are VERY interesting times, Adam! It’s very useful to have a thick skin against insults, speaking from experience, of course. ;)

Mike T Nelson April 1, 2010 at 12:47 pm

Excellent work Adam! One of your best ones yet.

I echo the positive emails you are getting as I get very similar ones. Feedback so far as been awesome.

I’m glad I finally went through this post.

I saw that program’s name come off here and there, but now I’m genuinely interested.

I’m already on a program right now, and I’m not one to cut it out in the middle of the process, but I definitely already want this stuff. :P By the looks of it I can implement many of its principles right away, in any case.

Looking forward to see what’s next!

Just had a good read through this post and the truth just leaps off the page. For a while I’d wondered why Frankie stated that “getting stronger is not a priority” for him right now and now that curiosity is sated. Good thing he’s managed to discover what seems to be the world’s best tool to tackle an issue like his.

One thing amazes me though… with all those emails in your inbox, Adam, where are all the PR posts? Why does it feel like the same people checking in and posting, when so many others are loving the system? Could they be frightened to ride the wave with everyone watching? I’ll be the dude trying to do a fucking flip off his board on the crest, hahaha.

Sidenote: My lowest point this week came when I couldn’t train one day because my body told me not to. I doubted my own body. Today I smashed new movements and realised I felt (in general) stronger and more “together” than ever before. Lesson, try not to doubt my body again.

Mike Arone April 2, 2010 at 7:31 am

Great Post man!

Brad Johnson April 2, 2010 at 10:02 am

We will not be ignored. This wave is about to crest.

By the way, I have a suggestion for what we can call the study of perpetual progress. (from Bucky Fuller) “Bio-anthropology,” the attainment of optimal health and freedom for all humanity.
