No chance involved in this lift- this is the product of smart training and correct application. How many men do you know who could handle this? Pay attention
I am continually disgusted to hear people label someone who achieves their goals as “lucky” They use this term as a put down, as if the person randomly found their way to success. When you invesitgate successful people in all fields you find a common thread, and it is not blind random actions.
What is LUCK? Something i heard a long time ago, and i love this-
Laboring
Under
Correct
Knowledge
Laboring: Working. Action. Effort
Under: utilizing, employing
Correct: Appropriate, Right, positive
Knowledge: Information, Facts, Comprehension
This is luck. Not chance, nothing random found here. Fitness is not a gamble, there is literally nothing random which cannot be predicted. If your being coached by someone who makes training sound mystical and artistic i will predict you are not achieving your goals. This is science. In fact it is very simple. Despite the fact the body is complex beyond our current understanding- training the body to be better is incredibly easy, IF you know who to ask.
So tell me this. Are you equipped to achieve your goals? Do you have LUCK? First week of January, i know many people are making a mad dash to the fitness centers to tackle their new years resolution to “finally get in shape”
I will predict with a high degree of accuracy you will fail to complete this goal if you have not invested in new knowledge, a better plan, and a new course of action. if your plan is a repeat of failed attempts from last year there is no reason to think it will work this time around. What you need is a new deal.
So tell me, what is your plan, how will get from point A to B this time around the block?

My motto is luck is for losers.
Congrats on the finger lift.

LUCK as in the random chance, or as in knowledge? Either way, good for you. I always enjoy learning about other peoples belief systems.
Dear Adam,
but it was luck in some way (even if not only chance) to hear about and find your blog.
Since then, I'm into kettlebells and ripping bending stuff.
Thank you for it.
