Finger lifting "the weak ones"

by adam on July 31, 2009

Can you see it? A 300lbs little finger lift. It will happen. I began finger lifting with my middle earlier this year. First workout i could only pull 150ish and was stopped by the pain. Now i pull over 400 with my middle finger. I will complete a 500lbs middle finger lift this year, no sweat. The real interesting one i am looking for will be 300+ with the pinkie. I first pulled a rep with the pinkie this month, 90lbs hurt. I can walk out to the gym and get 190 right now. With proper crazy mental state, any goal is possible.

On a side note, please make sure you research a given feat before chasing it. I 100% understand what this is going to do to me in the long run, but make sure you do before you engage it.

Yo! I seem stalled at 57.5 right now. I've locked it out a few times with each hand, but I'm not even managing to hover 60. The last two weeks I backed off the hub pinching to do some dynamic thumb work. Hopefully it'll jump-start the hub lifts.

Grippers are going a bit better. I'm taking my #3 down to 1/16"-1/8" depending on the session. A little pointer/thumb assistance from the other hand gets it tapped. With the parallel set, I'm thinking it might close this month (looking to close it from a wider set after that).

How's it feel to be back training on your own equipment?

Jeff is feels great!

I am doing reps with my #3 for 4-5 each set. I missed a close on my Elite last night by less than a 32 of an inch.

I am going after a lot of Barbell jerks this next 3 months, i want to be able to rep out 315 by December. I will keep plugging away at the hub challenge. This is a good one bro! there will be no quick finish. We will have to grind it out.
