I am proud of Collin, he went the distance. He has been training with me for only a few weeks. He is mentally tough and will get very strong over the next few years.
This set felt really good. the discomfort did not even start to add up until around minute 3:45 or so. My rep pace feels good. My hands are feeling better through out the set and my catches on the top of the rep are getting smoother. While i have not developed the eye for it, i feel like my reps are getting more consistant. As always over the last few weeks, those with experience of KB lifting are encouraged to submit their thoughts and comments.

great work adam, your snatch looks real tight really impressive helpful video
Your snatches look better than mine, so take my comments for what they are worth. I agree on consistency. The fingers look relaxed in oh grip.
The only things really I would say to look into would be:
(i) Check so that you do not let the bell drift too far behind your head in lock-out. Some reps, it looks quite far behind the head now, but maybe that comes natural for your shoulder and flexibility.
Personally, I can hyperextend backwards easily in snatch and it feels quite comfortable. Only problem is that my shoulder joint do not appreciate it if I do it several times in a set and it takes extra energy to go forward again for the drop. The balance between finding a good position where one can rest ”on the skeleton” but not too far back.
(ii) Some reps you could stabilize more distinctly and directly in the lockout. Do not let the bell move around oh before fixation. Now I think there is some slight movement in some reps with elbow locked out. In my case, fixation is harder with lighter (16kg) and heavy (+26kg) bells and easier with weights in the middle. I think that all these are fully legal reps though.
- Drop: it is difficult to see in the video + it might depend on your build (e.g. large rib cage, or not). But, you could experiment on letting the arm come down a little more before hinging over in the hips. That is great for protecting the shoulder joint with heavier bells and produces a grip-saving smooth curb (probably not a problem for you
. But maybe the arm already rests on rib cage when bending over.
(One version is to slightly lean the body backwards when dropping the bell from top.)
Again, I am a hobby lifter and not an experienced coach so stay critical to my points of view and take what you like.
But, da-n, it really looks fine all over and like you found a joyful groove. Cross World comp now in March?
