23 Feb 09–GS stuff and Finger lifts

by adam on February 23, 2009

First i did my finger lifts topping out at a nice 235 pull with the jack chain set up, than i did snatches and jerks. Watching paint dry is more exciting than this traditional stuff. I am not getting tired in my lungs, heart or back, it just smokes my grip to sit there for all this time in the fixed position with no hand switch. So i sit there and smile at the wall. Wow what have I been missing all this time! More to come…

Nice finger lifts. I will give you one more week on the Traditional stuff.

I don’t understand why the GS stuff is smoking your grip unless it’s because you are prefatiguing it.

:-) I bet that when you start to straddle the upper limits of your capacity you will start to love the trad lifting style.
Anyway keep the good work up!

It’s not for everyone and the mental aspect is half the game.

Thanks Gents

Eric i am no newbie to mental toughness with my body. I have pushed through goals that others cannot poke with a 20 ft stick (bending 100 grade 5 bolts in 50 minutes, the first 30 were down in under 4 minutes) GS is not as hard as billed, i am just getting started.

Alexander i will keep you posted

Boris- something technical. I am not doing anything to fatigue the grip before the set.

Harlan

have faith in my big man, i will not let you down :)
