You want to know something? I am a dumb ass of sorts. Because i dont listen to people. My Doctor said this is not such a good idea. My co-workers said this is not such a good idea. My friends told me its cool, but its not worth it. But you know what? I like to do, what i like to do. So i am working on breaking Jack chain wrapped around my arms. I have done it perfectly once, Once in front of about 80 people in the mall, and several more bad attempts were i stretched the chain but did not break it. Obviously pain is the limiting factor here. So tonight i tried it again, and it stretched out big time, but did not snap as expected. it did however tear me up pretty good. So i am going to pay for being a dumbie. But I know you’re not stupid, so the logic does not apply.
I’d say, rather, that you prefer a path that has been largely untested.
I know a crazy MFer locally who competes in strongman and has an attitude similar to yours when it comes to challenges. I do not think highly of this man as a person, but I do think highly of you. If you two ever met, you might want to kill each other. I’d bet on you to win, but I’ll also do my best to make sure you never meet.

Thanks for keeping me safe buddy. I have no problem peacefully dealing with A-holes. I get to do it every day. You know what, most of them just need someone to look them in the eye and say something remotely positive. Allow them to bask in their limited self esteem modal. And then press. I know some people whos self image is so tied down to the size of their arms, it is freaking sad. I cannot stand them, but i make it a point once a month to say “Your arms look bigger” hey maybe they do, i dont pay attention. But i know it warms up their week for 2 seconds, and maybe that will cause them to stop being big douschbags to everyone around them…
Its like the commerical where the girl stops the guy from stepping in to traffic, and then he leaves a big tip at the diner, and then the waitress gives someone a ride in the rain or whatever–you know big happy world and all that crap. I think it takes me the same amount of effort to be a dick as to be nice, so i tend to error on the side of politeness.
Good points there, Adam. For me, it takes even less effort to be nice most of the time. It’s a natural way to be. Thank God for that.
The douchebags have mental shortcomings that need to be taken into consideration. I suppose it’s a management skill like any other.
