Ask and you shall receive

The best thing about the internet is you can have contact with people who under normal circumstances you would never meet. You can connect with like minded people-And you do know what they say about strength in numbers?

I asked a question this week-and i got back several answers. Rick Walker was kind enough to drop in and give me a great program, i took it for a ride this afternoon.

Cleans 5×5 ( i used KBs, i like the impact they provide so double 24kgs, 28kgs, 32 kgs and 40kgs for sets of 5)
Deadlift 3×3 with trap bar, 2×10 with BB loaded with 35′s, 3×3 on trap bar and 1 set of 20 with Axle
Over head press with KBs 5×5
Full contact Twist-worked up to 85lbs X 12, i love this drill
Axle curl 4 sets of 5
and Neck harness work

Great work out, took me 1 hour 10 minutes to get through it all. The schedule he provided still allows room for work on the specific strongman feats i am building on, and keeping the others where they are at

So–when you have a problem, ASK!

Awesome, man. How do you like that neck harness? I had some credit through our schools equipment provider and I decided to pick one up. I’ve never used one before. What type of set/rep scheme do you prefer?

The rep/set scheme for the deads and squats are every week, not in the same day. Week 1 do the 3×5, thn week 2 the 2×10, week 3 3×3, and week 4 1×20, then back to 3×5 again.

Glad you liked it. Hit it hard and heavy, move fast between sets and exercises, and be completely exhausted when you are done.

Keep it up-

-Rick Walker
