I have been messing with this for a while, twisting a flat bar is really tough, if you have ever seen Erik “Hammerhead” Vining’s “infinity scroll” you will note it is a world class scroll that is twisted in the center. I have been intrigued by that scroll for months. Erik is far stronger than I, so i have a long ways to go before i will be twisting 3/8 bars like him.

Good stuff. How long did the twist (in the centre) take? Is that the most difficult part of a piece like that?

the total bend took 10 minutes, and i was hurting. The twist is extremely hard to do, i still am working out the technical kinks. I do not like the way it looks yet. Erik twists is and it looks beautiful, very tight twist. I think as i devote more time and effort to this i will become much more successful. Off to the steel i go on Monday.
