Block weights-Superior hand strength, very fun training

by adam on January 30, 2008

Block weights are some of the best investments you can make to strengthen your hands. Buy a dumbbell, cut the handle off, and your in business.

Most men need a 20-25lbs block to start with, so buy a 45-55lbs DB. Once you have it, work Deadlifts, Cleans, Snatches, Swings, Presses, throw it and catch it, juggle it.

As blocks get heavier, they get wider-this makes them a great test of hand strength. Only the strongest hands will lift a 50lbs block.

I ordered a 50lbs block with week, i am sure it will arrive by the second week of Feb. Before summer i will pull it off the floor.
