The shiny spike is a 12″ gripbright spike, found at most hard ware stores. they will stop most men the first few times, and the crush can be tricky to get, but once you learn how to crank your wrist they fall quickly. The dull color spike are beastly spikes from MM2. I believe these are the same spikes John Beatty sells at www. Fatbastardbarbellco.com. Grip board showed there is a massive difference in the calibrated strength in the spikes. I though it would be easy like a gripbright the first time i tried one. I had a hell of a time. Now after three weeks i am slamming these shut just as fast as the gripbrights. I will post a video on my youtube channel this week. Look at the angle of the kink in the photo, and you can see how much more abrupt the kink is in the bend.
